A former Senior Consultant with Mastel Associates
Ltd., Gerard recently joined CityUniversity of Seattle as
Alberta Director, MACP.
Since the early stages of his career, Gerard
has helped individuals and organizations with their professional
and personal development goals. For the past several years,
he pursued leadership opportunities consistent with his values,
principles and ethics in order to facilitate strong and healthy
workplaces. His background ranges from music to information
systems to psychology; from employee and family counsellor
to manager and director positions; from career management
to management consulting.
As a Regional Manager of employee assistance
and workplace support programs for numerous large employers
in Alberta, he had the opportunity to discover and help resolve
some of the most difficult HR and workplace concerns, and
understands the need for exceptional leaders in today's thriving
and tumultuous marketplace.
Gerard holds a bachelor and master's
degree from the University of Calgary. He is a Registered
Psychologist whose formal education has been supplemented
by extensive training and experience in leadership and human
resources. He is Past Chair of the Calgary Industrial/Organizational
Psychology Group and has been a member of several associations
and boards.
